Event Overview

Do you want to get better at finding new clients and projects? Then this virtual roundtable is for you!

As consultants, many of us feel awkward when it comes to business development. In this session, we’ll discuss some practical tips and brainstorm new ideas.

Since this is a roundtable (not a webinar or workshop) it will be 90% dialogue among the PICA members. Come prepared to introduce yourself and participate, either live via video-cam (preferred), by audio. To encourage open dialogue, these sessions are not recorded for playback and they’re only open to PICA members.

Format: Virtual roundtable. A few slides might be shared to kickstart the conversation, but this is intended to be an open dialogue among all participants. Use of video cam is encouraged. At the very least, be prepared to speak up verbally.

Note: Registration is limited to just 10 participants to encourage conversation!

Duration: 90 minutes

About the facilitator

PICA's Co-Founder and Chief Advocate Liz Steblay has worked in consulting over 20 years, most of those as an independent consultant with a steady stream of work. In 2009 she expanded her solo practice by creating ProKo Consulting, a national talent agency that represents other self-employed consultants. She’s quick to say that she doesn’t “do sales”, yet her businesses have generated millions in revenue. In this roundtable she’ll share her favorite tricks, but mostly she’ll encourage you to help each other.
