Mark Lorenz

Mark founded Trailhead Management Consulting Services and has more than 20 years of experience providing Strategic Change solutions for clients’ culture, process, and technology investments. He specializes in projects for HR, Finance, or IT, enriching their contributions as critical business partners. He treats change management as risk management, focusing on large-scale change, talent management, and organization assessments. His clients realize the greatest benefits when they partner with him to develop insights about the performance of their business and the potential of their people; and when he guides clients through decisions that align with their long-term vision. Mark holds a BS from USC and an MBA from NYU. He enjoys hiking with his family and attending March Madness in different cities.

Briana Sharp

Briana got her start as a communications professional before becoming a management consultant. She honed her craft over seven years with Deloitte Consulting in the mergers and acquisitions practice. Today, Briana guides organizations with their organization effectiveness and M&A needs, helping leaders bring their strategy to life through their people. Briana loves the the flexibility and choices that come with being independent; whether it's taking on one large engagement or working on a few smaller projects, she knows she has an opportunity to make an impact. In her free time, Briana is a fitness enthusiast and an ambassador for the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon Series, and she's traveled to over 15 destinations (domestic and international) in the race series.

Douglas Sietsema

Doug works with clients to manage organizational changes and set new models for performance. He has worked at PwC, Deloitte and E&Y, and as an independent practitioner focusing on disruptive changes to processes and core information systems or significant restructuring. As an independent consultant, Doug particularly enjoys playing roles that often don't exist as full-time positions. Doug's M.A. and Ph.D. are in educational psychology and he holds an MBA, but he maintains that his real learning has come from clients and colleagues. The highlight of his formal education was during college in the California desert as part of an entering class of 12 students — check out deepsprings.edu for a glimpse.

Felicia Lyon

Felicia works at the intersection of strategy, talent, and technology as a Human Capital Consultant and Executive Coach. Prior to launching her own firm, Felicia served as a senior leader with Deloitte Consulting. For Felicia, the best part of running her own practice is the ability to choose her clients and solutions, and the freedom to live the life she desires. Felicia pays it forward as a Mentor with the Chairmen's Round Table and as a Board Member for the International Coach Federation in San Diego. She is a Certified Professional Coach, holds a M.A. in I/O from Roosevelt University and B.A. from the University of Georgia. When she's not working, you can find Felicia learning to surf with her fiancé, riding her Ducati motorcycle, or setting personal records as a nationally ranked weightlifter.

Susan Nelson

Susan is the founder and Principal Consultant of The Pragmatic Life, a management consulting firm that specializes in talent management, employee engagement, and coaching. She is a pragmatic HR Consultant with over 15 years of experience advising San Francisco Bay Area and global technology organizations and leaders in making the most effective use of their human capital. Susan loves the freedom and flexibility that independent consulting provides, as it allows her to do the work she enjoys without being constrained by corporate politics. Equally important, she is able create meaningful space for herself and her family. Susan holds an MBA from Santa Clara University and a B.A. from San Jose State University. Nancy Harris

Nancy Harris is the founder and CEO of Restart Consulting. Her mission is to help people design the careers and lives they love. Her online coaching program, The Career Restart, is a movement designed to help women successfully navigate career transitions. Nancy's Master's in Labor and Employment Relations, and her B.A., are both from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. She is an alumna of Coaches Training Institute (CTI), and holds certifications in Hogan Personality Inventory, Development Dimension International (DDI), and Organization Development. She is also the co-founder of DisruptHR Chicago, a dog lover, and a devoted yogi.

Dray Wharton

Dray Wharton is an organizational psychologist who runs Wharton & Co., a Denver-based management consultancy with three broad practice areas concentrated on people, technology, and strategy. Dray's work since 2006 has focused on individual, team, and institutional productivity and performance improvement. He holds a BSc degree in information management from McKendree University, served a decade as an officer in the United States Air Force, and is a certified practitioner of Taylor Protocols' Core Value Index and Strategyzer's Business Model Canvas. in addition to his community role with PICA, Dray writes and serves on the boards of two Colorado non-profits.

Paola Mazzei

Paola is an experienced Business Intelligence consultant and project manager who partners with customers to shape, build and deliver complex data solutions and analytics to achieve measurable business value. Her strength is in managing the Software Development Lifecycle using both Agile and waterfall methodologies. Paola is passionate about people, believing that projects succeed when people succeed; she advocates a blend of thinking and feelings to make optimal decisions when navigating complexity and uncertainty. As an independent consultant, Paola looks for projects that ignite her passion and afford her a better work-life balance. She is a blockchain enthusiast, a certified yoga instructor, and an excellent Italian cook. Paola holds a MBA from Kingston University, London and an M.S. in Economics from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II.

Amy Smith

Amy's professional expertise is in Leadership, Learning & Development, Brand Enhancement and Program Facilitation. She has worked primarily in the Retail and Technology industries, including 10 years as a leader for Apple Retail. Her focus centers on coaching leaders and training teams who want to help themselves and the world around them move forward, exploring the possibilities that will help them achieve the results they want or need — that's why she loves being a consultant. She has a B.A. from the University of Florida and several professional certifications and affiliations. Amy is an animal conservationist, spending time volunteering with animals, including dogs, tigers and lions (oh my), as well as creating awareness around conservation.

Caroline Kim

Caroline translates insights into actionable business strategies and is a trusted advisor to Fortune 50 executives. As a senior leader at Booz Allen Hamilton, she built a reputation as a creative leader overseeing cross-functional teams that used data to solve complex business problems. Caroline brings a unique blend of strategy and analytical experience including: strategic planning, corporate social responsibility, brand reputation management, non-profit strategy, market research, public private partnerships, and change management. Her clients have included private corporations, non-profits and government in over 10 countries across 4 continents. She received her M.P.P. from Georgetown University and her B.A. at Barnard College, Columbia University. Caroline loves the freedom and flexibility that comes with being an independent consultant; in fact, as an avid yogi, she is pursuing her yoga teacher certification. She is a lifelong Red Sox fan and a longtime season ticket holder.

Rob Hustick

Rob has more than two decades of experience helping his clients elevate their operational and marketing performance. He has a diverse blend of client-side and independent consulting experience and also founded or led two start-ups that were ultimately acquired. He is currently an independent consultant at BOOST Strategy Partners and previously served as Managing Director of Protiviti, President of SusQtech, President of Live Elements, COO of IntraPoint, and Creative Director at the New York City Marathon. Rob loves the challenge of fully immersing himself in a variety of business models and markets — and learning new strategies and tactics to help his clients grow. His B.A. is from SUNY Binghamton. Rob is a triathlete; while he claims not to be exceptionally talented in any of the three sports and even worse in the transitions, he loves carbo-loading the night before.
